I’m excited to announce that after receiving a $2,600 grant from the Sandusky County Communities Foundation, we at Sandco Industries have successfully implemented a new security system at our Life Enrichment Center on Main Street in Clyde, Ohio. With this grant, five video surveillance cameras were purchased, and a new monitor was purchased for the security system.
Now that we have the security cameras in place, we will be able to provide a healthy and safe environment to serve our individuals with disabilities.

Sandco Industries held an Open House on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Approximately 150 people toured our new facility and enjoyed popcorn and free swag. Congratulations to the winners of our door prize drawing, Susan Damschroder and Frank Bracken. Thank you to all who came out to show your support of Sandco Industries!
Our Canvas Painting fundraiser was a success! We’ve raised enough funds to cover the entire cost of a brand new AED device (Automated External Defibrillator). The event was very well attended and everyone had a great time.

Sandco Industries Achieves 3 Year CARF Accreditation
August 8th and 9th, 2016 the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Survey took place at Sandco Industries. As a step towards accreditation, CARF Surveyors consulted with staff members and interviewed people who use the provider’s services. Based on the surveyor’s review, Sandco Industries was awarded accreditation for a term of three years.
What is Accreditation?
Accreditation is a process that demonstrates a provider has met standards for the quality of its services. CARF International establishes these standards to guide providers in offering their services and also uses the standards to evaluate how well a provider is serving people and how it can improve.
In October 2016, Compliance Officers from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) visited Sandco to verify compliance. Sandco Industries was awarded a 3 year Compliance Certificate with no citations!
