Sandco Industries is a private, non-profit corporation that has been in operation since 1964. 2016 marked our first year of completing privatizing from the Sandusky County Board of Developmental Disabilities.  Within that year, Sandco’s needs expanded and it took us to building a new facility in Clyde that we moved into in 2017.  In July of 2017, we added the Sandco Life Enrichment program located in downtown Clyde. In 2019 we added SandCO-Opportunities in Fremont and in 2023 we will be adding an inclusive retail training site, Sandco’s Sweeties, in Clyde. Sandco Industries provides a wide range of services and supports to individuals around the area. We currently offer Vocational Habilitation, Senior Day Programming, Adult Day Services, Non-Medical Transportation and Individual Employment Supports through the Medicaid Waiver and private pay.

Sandco focuses on removing barriers that exist in our system to support individuals with developmental disabilities to live and work in our community. Sandco Industries currently supports over 100 individuals that participate in our programs.
